WE DO HEALTH CARE DIFFERENTLY
For prospective clients living locally, a pre-admission assessment in the home or hospital would be routinely carried out. This ensures that there is a collaboration with all health care professionals, the family and the client, and that there is an understanding of the role of the caregivers, the family and allied professionals. For prospective clients living overseas (regionally and internationally), a detailed medical report and the completion of a health questionnaire will be required prior to admission. This will allow for effective care planning of the client’s needs.
The Grange operates a policy of open visiting, although the most convenient visiting times are between 10 am and 12 pm and 3 pm to 7 pm, when staff members would be more readily available for the visitor to speak to if necessary. At other times of the day, caregivers tend to be busier and their priority at all times must be the residents.
The Chief Executive Officer who is also a Registered Nurse Consultant and the deputy manager are also available from 7:30 am until 5 pm, and visitors are encouraged to call in at any time for a chat or general information or a tour of the Facility. If in doubt, please feel at ease to contact us first for an appointment.
All visitors are asked to sign in and out when visiting
Visitors observations and suggestions are always welcome
The security of our staff and residents are our priority, and we ask all visitors to respect this.
